The Gilded Cellar
The Gilded Cellar is an example of the splendour that bespoke joinery can add to any space. We worked with the client to tailor the perfect storage solution for their extensive and impressive wine collection, with various holders for each type of bottle display. The client later added a bespoke gold-leafed ceiling, adding a sultry ambiance to the space, and giving the room its namesake; The Gilded Cellar.

We crafted the cellar from Dark Chocolate Oak veneer and solid Oak stained to match adding a luxurious richness to complement the wines on show. Integrated LED lighting creates a centrepiece display, which wraps all the way around the room, showcasing some of the client’s finest vintages.
Black metal wine pegs compliment the dark timber and offer space for densely, yet safely, stacked bottle storage. The room is fully climate controlled with a timber ventilation grille concealing the FCU outlet to the cellar, maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the year and ensuring the wine is cellared appropriately.
