The Ladder House
Shape undertook the full design, fabrication and installation of joinery throughout The Ladder House, with particular emphasis on the kitchen with rolling ladder that gave this project its namesake. We used a luxurious material palette of white-washed Ash, Oak and Marble throughout, accented by recessed LED lighting and brass detailing. Shape created contemporary designs that were tailored to perfectly fit each space, and detailed and finished to complement the luxe aesthetic.

By combining raw materials such as Ash and Carrara Marble, with delicate brass detailing, we created an aesthetic that is primal yet refined. Shadow gaps have been used to evoke the weightlessness of the thick cut slabs of material.
Within the hidden TV storage unit, we carved out a reading nook that offers a retreat to curl up in with a good book. Elsewhere floating storage units, alcove shelving, and low-level bench seating elevate the storage space within the serene drawing room.
In the utility space, we created a feature wine wall in Oak, with recessed LED lighting, opposite a full wall of hidden cupboards, with inset bench seat and boot storage.
