The Weaver’s House
This large family home had to accommodate a weaver’s machinery and materials, along with a large library of books. As a result, Shape created large amounts of bespoke joinery throughout the property, including the kitchen, under-stair storage, dressing rooms, attic room, living room shelving & media storage, and bathroom cabinetry. Varying warm tones of Oak & Ash were used to complement the neutral colour palette used throughout, whilst offering each space some differentiation and personality.

Throughout, we aimed to maximise storage for the client’s impressive library, creating several opportunities for the books to be displayed, including under-stair storage, bespoke corner floating shelves, and slanted attic shelving. A large, bespoke, bench seat offers the perfect spot for relaxation whilst overlooking the beautiful garden.
Within the bedrooms and bathrooms we used Tabu Ash veneers, paired with an array of shades of Corian, all fabricated in-house, giving each bathroom it’s own character.
The Weaver’s Kitchen utilises a medium-dark stained Tabu Oak veneer that was specifically selected to match a loved piece of furniture. The black Quartz kitchen countertop offers a nice contrast and ensures the island is a focal point of the room.
